The following questions relate to general information about the stock, stock availability, definitions, measurements or perhaps the photographs.
How do I know how many pieces you have in stock?
JQ Jewellery has tried to take the frustration out of on-line shopping, by only showing you the items currently in stock and the number available for sale. If the stock is not available, it will not show the item.
Can I make an order for stock?
Unfortunately, the stock varies all the time, it is not possible to order items, however occasionally Jacquie is able to purchase the same item again some months later. So if you have seen something your friend has and you want and it's not available, keep looking out for it!
How often do you list new pieces?
The stock is updated frequently so there will always be something new and exciting. The arrival of new stock after a buying trip will be advertised so keep a look out for it in the Latest News... Read more.
Do you ever have any items on Sale?
Yes. As new designs come through, many items will be reduced to clear. The prices will shown and any major sales will be advertised in a Mailout. If the sale price is less than the discounted price, then the sale price will apply. If not, then the discount will be applied to the full retail price. You will purchase the sale item at the cheapest price available.
What is the Jewellery made from?
Each item will be stated to the best of our knowledge. If we are not sure, we will not say.

The diamonte stones used on many of our designs are referred to as many different terms, including crystals. I have referred to them as "Diamontes" unless otherwise stated and if I am certain of the material, I will state it clearly in the description.Metals
If the metal is not stated, it is because we do not know for sure what metal it is. All information given in relation to the type of metal is to the best of our knowledge and is in no way meant to mislead or misrepresent.Any reference to Silver or Gold in this website relates to the colour. Jewellery which is made of 92.5 Silver will be indicated very clearly. Search for items with 92.5 Silver by using the search enginer and typing "92.5".
Rhodium plated items are silver or gold in colour. The silver colour is generally much brigher than Silver 92.5. Rhodium is used to prevent tarnishing so your jewellery stays brighter for longer.
The Gold Jewellery is gold plating. The gold designs vary slightly in colour. Some of the more brighter gold pieces are double plated, designed to last longer. JQ Jewellery does not stock a large range of gold designs as we try to narrow it down to the more tasteful designs. The chains with the gold plating are not as good as the silver ones and will tarnish over a short period of time, however the pendants are very good quality. Just a tip... many women swap the pendants onto a gold chain.
All jewellery which is Nickel Free will be specified in the description, please check the item description before purchase. Use the "Search" engine to find out if there are any nickel free products in stock. Search for "nickel free"
Handmade Jewellery
The Jewellery which is handmade is made overseas and not locally. Every effort is made to ensure they are as close as possible to the photograph provided, however because of the very nature of how they are made, it may be possible that the design may vary slightly.Swarovski Crystals will be clearly stated and can be found in many handmade designs.
Pearls
All pearls listed on this website are factory produced unless otherwise stated. Small freshwater pearls are quite often used in the handmade jewellery. It will be stated if they are anything other than 'costume jewellery'.Photographs - Who took the photos?
All photographs can be enlarged so the detail can be magnified.

What about the measurements given?
All measurements given are approximate only to try to make your selection easier. The Pendant necklaces come on a silver (or gold) plated chain. The standard size chain is a 16" chain. This measures approx. 39-40cm. 18" Chains are available for purchase separately if you require a longer chain. occasionally longer chains are available individually for sale. Go to search and type in "chain" to see stock availability. If the incorrect chain size is sent out, please contact us immediately and we will assist you to rectify the error.
Any reference to an average size woman, is an approx. size 12-14. If you are unsure and measurements are not sufficient, please contact us with your question. Please let us know which item you are enquiring about..

I've placed an order and now I've changed my mind - what do I do?
No problem. Orders will not be processed for a minimum period of 48 hours from the time the order is placed. Orders will generally be shipped within 7-10 days however in most cases will be sent 2-3 days from date of purchase (depending on date of order). In the event of an Express Purchase request, if order is cancelled and item been posted by Express Post, then the order will not be able to be deleted and normal refund policy will apply. If you wish to cancel your order within the 48 hour period, contact us with the details of your order, eg name, address, phone number and we can delete it for you.
I don't really like what I've ordered - what do I do?
No problem! We have a 30 Day Return Policy. Terms & Conditions.
How long is the warranty for in case my jewellery breaks?
The warranty on all jewellery which is found to be faulty due to manufacturing faults and defects is for a 6 month period. Terms & Conditions
Do I need to read the Terms & Conditions?
No, however please note that all purchases from JQ Jewellery are made on the basis that you accept the Terms & Conditions, together with any General Information supplied throughout this website.
How can I pay for my order?

How can I care for my jewellery?
All jewellery and accessories sold by JQ Jewellery are fashion jewellery and as such should not be exposed to perfume, water, chemicals or heat. Terms & Conditions

We stock a lovely range of jewellery appropriate for weddings and formal events Formal/Bridal.
My daughter is only little and loves jewellery. Do you have anything age appropriate?
