FAQ - ONLINE PARTY FUNDRAISERS

Who can hold a Fundraiser?
An Online Jewellery Fundraiser Party can only be held for a charity, school, group or other organisation for the purpose of raising funds. The charity or organisation must possess an ABN and be a recognised entity. It cannot be held by a group of individuals nor can it be used by a business, other than for the purpose of fund raising. A Social Club within an organisation will qualify if they are separate from the organisation (ie have their own bank account for fundraising).
What are the benefits of holding a Fundraiser?
The organisation or charity will receive a 25% donation based on Total Sales of the Online Fundraising Party (excluding postage). The minimum total orders for the party is $200.
Can I see how it works?
Yes you can! We have set up a Test Fundraiser for you to see how easy it is! It's a good idea to read the rest of the FAQ's on Fundraisers, then come back and try it out...
This is a test only, all orders will be deleted by us... No obligation!
Go to the Login (top left hand corner of page)
Party Host Keyword : testfundraiser
Party Guest Keyword : fundraiser
If we don't reach the minimum amount for the Total Sales, will we still receive a donation?
Yes, however the reduced amount will be 10% of Total Sales of the Online Fundraising Party (excluding postage).
You'll be given an additional two days from the conclusion of the party to allow you to get more orders. If after that time the party does reach the minimum order, then the full 25% donation will be given. At the end of the extension, the party will be closed by us.
Do I get any personal benefit from organising a Fundraiser?
Yes, in addition to the cash donation to your organisation, JQ Jewellery will send a Gift Certificate to the value of $25.00 to the organiser of the Fundraiser. (Gift Voucher Conditions apply).
Can anyone join our Fundraising Party?
It's up to you how many people you wish to include in your Fundraising Party. You can ask everyone who is invited to invite everyone they know etc. etc. You can advertise on your noticeboards, do a massive email campain and brochure distribution it's entirely up to you how big you want to make it!
The only thing to remember is that there is a collection time, date and place and if they are not able to collect the order or make arrangements with the Party Host to have the order collected, then they will need to nominate to have it posted to them individually. This can be done easily at the Checkout.
JQ Jewellery are happy to give you assistance and tips on how to get it out there... this assistance is a guidance only. Any decisions to distribute emails, flyers, brochures is entirely the decision of the organisation or the Party Host and JQ Jewellery cannot be held accountable for any action or misrepresentation as a result of such distribution.
My friend lives overseas, can they join the party?
Read more...How long does the Online Jewellery Fundraiser run for?
It can run for as long as you like. You choose the dates! Just remember that people might be waiting for their orders, so don't make it too long. Suggested timeframe is approx. 2-3 weeks. You can advise them of the party closing date and collection details on the invitation.
Can I raise money for a charity of my choice?
Yes you can, you need to seek permission to raise money on their behalf and contact us. Payment will only be made to a bank account if letterhead authorisation is provided. If you seek payment by cheque, they will only be issued payable to the charity, and not to you personally.
How do I register for a Fundraiser Party?
You will need to go to our Online Parties Page and register.
What happens then?
You will be sent an email and requested to provide information necessary to start you off... You will then be asked to provide contact details and payment options.
How are the payments of Donations processed?
Payments made in the form of a cheque will be sent in the mail and made payable to the organisation or nominated charity. Notification of payments made on-line will be sent via email to the party host at the time of payment. The Party Host will be advised of details of the orders, including any returned orders.
When is the Donation made?
The donation will be given approx. 5-6 weeks after the conclusion of the fundraiser. This is to allow 30 days for the return policy to be effected.
How long do I have to get my orders to everyone?
We have a 30 Day Return policy on our jewellery. Please ensure you have organised delivery with your friends and colleagues so they don't miss out on qualifying for a return in case they wish to make a return.
On your initial application you will have nominated a collection date, time and place. This would have been advised to your party guests on their invitation.
It is entirely the responsibility of the Party Host to ensure the orders are delivered and not the responsibility of JQ Jewellery. Information will be provided to the Party Host of all orders to ensure contact details are given.
JQ Jewellery will not accept returns on the basis that the orders have not been collected.
ONCE THE PARTY HAS STARTED... MORE HELP AVAILABLE
I've set up my party, what do I do now?
You need to invite your friends and colleagues to the party by circulating the special Party Keyword. You need to circulate the password so they can Login and join your party.
You can do this in several ways :
1) Forward the Invitation & Party Guest Help Information you were sent in an attachment via email.
2) Go to the "Party Home" and follow the link Invite more people to the party. Enter the email addresses. Your friends will then receive an email with a link to the website and instructions to Join the Party. (You can only do this whilst you are Logged into your Party).
3) Print out the Invitation (printable version) and hand it out.
4) Or call your friends and give the details over the phone
Why are there two keywords?
The master keyword is given to the Party Host so she can manage the party bookings and see what's happening during her party. The other keyword is given to friends and colleagues so they can do their shopping. They will not be able to access any information relating to other orders.
Where is the "Login"?
A link to Login will be sent to you once you have registered your Party. There are two options to go to the Login.
LOGIN The main link is located on the top left hand side of the screen. Click on the link and it will take you to the Login screen. Type in your special keyword and you are ready to go shopping!
The second option is available on the Parties page.
What does the link to "Manage my Party" and "Party Home" mean?
These are the same thing. You will only see Manage my Party each time you Login. This link will take you to the Party Home page. The Party Home is only available when you are Logged in. Your friends will not be able to access this information.
You can use this facility to track your friends orders, invite more people to your party and do your own shopping. If you can't access this information, then you may have entered the wrong keyword. Simply, logout and log back in again using the Admin Keyword.
I'm the Party Host and I logged in with the keyword which I gave to my friends, not the Admin keyword?
Don’t worry, it doesn't matter. If you've started , complete the process through to the checkout and when you've finished, logout. Next time you Login with your special Party Host Admin Keyword you'll see your order as part of the group booking.
One of my guests made a mistake on their order. How do I fix it?
You will need to cancel their order and have them start again. On the Party Home page, Look for the person's name on the list. Click on it and open up their order. At the bottom left you'll find the "DELETE THIS ORDER" link. You don't need to delete it before they order again, but be sure you delete the correct order. You will need to contact us as their order may have been processed and a refund will need to be organised. If you are not sure, contact Jacquie.
One of my guests wants to receive their order before the party finishes?
Simply ask them to select individual delivery (cost $10.00). Their order will be processed no earlier than 48 hours from the date of the order. Ask them to contact us to advise their request for early delivery. Read more...

No, I’m sorry you can’t. You Gift Voucher's can only be redeemed on full priced purchases and cannot be used as part of an Online Jewellery Party or Fundraiser. Read more...How do I know which orders are coming to me in a group and which are being sent directly?
At the Party Home you will find a list of orders with your Party Guests names. If you click on each order, you'll see at the bottom which option they have chosen for postage.
Each bag will be clearly labelled and if it's sent as part of your group booking, it's the responsibility of both the Party Host and Party Guest to ensure they organise to collect the order. It is not the responsibility of JQ Jewellery to organise for individual collection of orders which have been sent as part of a group booking.
